WeTracked or Layer Insights?

Better conversion signals matter, but tracking is not the final business decision. Start by clarifying whether you need platform signals or a connected view of what those conversions actually contribute.

Where is the focus?

WeTracked

WeTracked positions itself around more reliable Shopify conversion tracking for ad platforms.

Layer Insights

Layer connects observable conversions to orders, acquisition costs and product economics, with tracking as one part of the system.

Which fits your business?

When the other platform makes sense

Evaluate WeTracked when your primary need is conversion measurement and sending signals to ad platforms.

When to evaluate Layer

Evaluate Layer when you also need to assess those orders by channel, customer and product contribution.

What to validate in both demos

Compare the same order. Not two sales presentations.

  1. Use the same Shopify order and reporting period in both systems.
  2. Check which costs are really included: COGS, discounts, returns, fulfilment and ads.
  3. Ask which visits and channels are observed and what remains unknown because of consent or missing integrations.
  4. Ask what budget or product decision changes because of the result.
Common question

Is better conversion tracking the same as measuring profit?

No. A correctly sent purchase event does not reveal profit. You also need product costs, returns, fulfilment and acquisition cost associated with the order.

Important nuance

Check current integrations and limits in each platform. Public marketing claims are not proof of technical coverage.

A useful demo starts with one real order, its actual costs and a business decision you need to make.
